What is a Table Top Role Playing Game (TTRPG) or Dungeons and Dragons?

It's playing grown up make believe. Think of it like this:

A Book TELLS you a story of a character pre determined, start to finish.

A Video games allow you to play through a story that is predetermined but you have to progress through it by playing the game

A TTRPG allows you and all the other players to CREATE a story guided by a Story Teller using guidelines or rules to provide the unpredictability of adventure!

Playing TTRPGs builds friendships and provides a healthy coping mechanism for anyone in any phase of life. No skill required. It just asks you to relax and open up to the world of fantasy, have fun, laugh, and reconnect with the people around you.

In Dungeons and Dragons you'll have the chance to play a character of your creation, set in a world of fantasy, with ready..? Dragons! And maybe even Dungeons! Do you like to hunt in real life? Imagine yourself as a ranger like Legolas from Lord of the Rings! Knocking three arrows in your short bow as you flip over goblins and letting them fly! It’s all in your head and up to you. We're here to have fun, have a drink, and tell a great story. You can be a part of it and all you need is your imagination and a good attitude.
